SAGRADO CONTINUES THE TRADITION OF ANCIENT MEXICAN BEVERAGES WITH A CONTEMPORARY TWIST.
OUR FOUNDER AND HEAD TRIBESMAN AT SAGRADO, HAS ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED WITH AGAVE BASED SPIRITS DURING HIS CAREER AS A MIXOLOGIST.
AFTER SPENDING SOME TIME IN MEXICO, HE REALISED THAT THERE WEREN’T ANY CIDER OPTIONS AND THEREFORE NO ALTERNATIVE TO THE MARKET LEADING CERVEZAS. HE SAMPLED ANCIENT AZTEC BEVERAGES SUCH AS PULQUE AND VINO DE MEZCAL AND IDENTIFIED THE OPPORTUNITY TO BROADEN THE AGAVE BEVERAGE MARKET. THE IDEA FOR SAGRADO WAS BORN.
SAGRADO BLANCO IS THE WORLDS FIRST MEXICAN CIDER ALTERNATIVE MADE FROM 100% BLUE WEBBER AGAVE. IT’S LIGHTLY SPARKLING, REFRESHINGLY SWEET AND PERFECTLY SESSIONABLE.

SAGRADO is a modern interpretation of the ancient Mexican drink Pulque and classic British beverage Mead, crafted from 100% Agave rather than the traditional Honey base.

SAGRADO was inspired by a range of ancient Aztec beverages, taking the best bits from Pulque and Vino de Mezcal and combining them with the lightly sparkling nature of a Beer or Cider.
The name SAGRADO comes from the spanish word meaning Sacred, whilst Maguey is the Native word for Agave.
